Condylography: Recording and Analysis – Gregor Slavicek
Condylography is a valuable technique that helps dentists analyze the mandibular movement of patients. In the course “Condylography: Recording and Analysis” by Gregor Slavicek, participants will learn the fundamentals of condylography, including how to prepare a patient for mandibular movement recording, determine the hinge axis and reference position of the patient, and follow standard protocols for mandible movement recording.
The course is designed for prosthodontists, orthodontists, and functional dentists who want to deepen their understanding of condylography and how it can benefit their practice.
The course content is organized into two seasons, each consisting of 12 modules. In season one, participants will learn the basic principles of condylographic recording, including the application of condylography in functional analysis, determination of the hinge axis versus the rotational axis of the mandible, and the dynamics of mediotrusive and laterotrusive condyles.
In season two, participants will dive deeper into the analysis of condylographic data, including the quantity and characteristics of the data, analysis of the symmetry in the right-left comparison, and the analysis of the so-called Bennett movement.
Overall, the course offers comprehensive training in condylography, providing dentists with the knowledge and skills to perform accurate mandibular movement recordings and analyze the data obtained from those recordings. The course content is well-structured and presented by an experienced and knowledgeable instructor, making it an excellent choice for dental professionals looking to expand their skills and knowledge in this area.
