This online course, presented by Straumann, aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the patient assessment and examination process required for effective implant treatment planning. Participants will learn how to gather a patient’s medical and dental history, recognize contraindications for implant treatment, conduct a thorough clinical examination, and assess the risks and benefits of different treatment options.
The course covers topics such as patient history, examination, provisional diagnosis, and treatment planning, and includes videos demonstrating various aspects of the implant treatment process, such as surgical and impression-taking techniques, post-operative review, and analysis of study models.
